Extra Credit Opportunity! Find the Class Periodic Table

by Sam Harrelson on September 15, 2009

squirrelllampHere’s your chance to gain an extra 1 point on your grade.

The task is to find a periodic table online that fits all of our class needs.

1) Search around on the web and find an interactive periodic table. Try to find one we haven’t used in class or one that is not easy for others to find (in other words, dig around on the web to find something unique).

2) The table must break down metals, nometals and metalloids by color or some sort of separation.

3) Come back here and post a link to your find and maybe a few words as to why you think it’s the best periodic table for us to use in class!

If someone posts a periodic table here, that is the only time it will be considered (so no duplications).

We’ll vote in class tomorrow and I’ll have a big input into which table we pick. So make sure to make a little argument as to why your pick is the best (instead of just posting up a link in the comments).

Happy Googling!

This is the BEST periodic Table I could find..Pictures…Pictures…Pictures.
Also go to howard.nebrwesleyan.edu/hhmi/fellows/sloder/imntsearch.html this site shows hidden patters in the periodic table to make it easier to learn. I think Mr. Harrelson should go to webelements.com (Elizabeth’s site)and buy us all a t-shirt with the periodic table on it…LOL
